United by faith in the holy spirit and the sacred order that gives life to every living creature in Aragon, the races of the Sacred Order stand as one. King Venuin presented the threat of the rising Domination to the great Dwarven craftsmen of Throrsgard and the wise High Elves of Lunadell. Before the end of his reign, he stood before Elven and Dwarven Kings in favor of the Bearans — brute, fierce, and feral beings who proved his trust over time. Together they formed an alliance whose strength was realized when they tricked and ambushed the invading Orcs and Gronthars in the Second War.
Born of chaos, war, and defiance, the Domination is an alliance of the scorned and the savage. Led by High Chieftain Inngrim of the Orcs, this faction unites those who refuse to kneel before the gods of the Sacred Order. From the Orcen Empire in the Red Wastes to the twisted Infernal Demons and the cursed Undead who once served the Old Gods, the Domination wages bloody war against the Sacred Order — driven by ambition, survival, and an unquenchable thirst for conquest.
Noble beings created by The Old Gods themselves, Humans possess an unmatched will for life. Even in the face of death, they draw strength from their sacred faith. Wielders of the Holy Light of Life, they are the true warriors of the living — amazingly intelligent and able to practice magics from different power sources.
The Kingdom of the Humans is the oldest in Aragon and has seen both moments of glory and near extinction. The First Kingdom was formed by King Lothar Methryn with the capital city of Whitestone in the sacred lands of White Garden at Mynorath. After Whitestone fell to Queen Nepherimas, humanity was on the brink. A new hero emerged — King Venuin Stonehill marched south and forged a new kingdom from the ashes, establishing the city of Whitesong in the lands of Storms Valley, twice the size of Whitestone, ushering in a new era.
Masters of stealth and deadly ranged combat, the High Elves have an affinity with Nature at the core of their belief system. They use the trees and plants to fuel their magic and can blend into their surroundings with practiced ease. From a young age, Elven children are trained to wield weapons forged from the very trees they reside in.
After the end of The First War, half of the survivors decided to abandon their initial cause and travel with the Humans to Mynorath, heading to the ancient Moon Forest. There, they became one with nature — renouncing the Infernal Fire and accepting the Moon Light as their source of life. The Moon Goddess Elvyn gave them the blessing of immortality and wisdom. Masters with the arrow, skilled assassins, and the greatest Druid healers, the Elves formed their kingdom under Queen Elyssandra with the capital city Lunadell in The Moon Forest.
Short, but strong. Greedy, but fair. The Dwarves are respected members of The Sacred Order. Greatest blacksmiths in all of Aragon with unmatched crafting and trading skills, they are a race that will fight to preserve their riches at all costs — and a race which will always stay connected with The High Mountain.
After the explosion of the Infernal Nova cast by Mad Titan Graz'modan, a great hole was opened in The High Mountain. Humans and High Elves came to mend the wounds of the mountain, uncovering life beneath — the Dwargs. Small, weak, and nearly blind creatures interested only in digging halls and hoarding mountain treasures. The healing hands of the High Elves' druids saved many. Over time, the Dwargs transformed into stronger, smarter beings — the Dwarves. Using the teachings of Humans, they became devout servants of The Light, forming their Kingdom under King Goldbeard with the capital Throrsgard in The High Mountain of Mynorath.
Powerful and proud, the Bearans are fierce predators known for their explosive temperaments and superior hunting and fighting skills. Dominant and wild forest spirits, they value loyalty and good humor above all else. Once challenged, only death itself can stop these brute beings.
On an island far to the north, where the snow and ice never fully melt, a mystical Bear gathered the Bearans around a great lake to sing the songs of Wisdom and grant the primal predators the gift of sentience. She also gave them remembering stones inlaid in an armor set — whoever was chosen to wear it became an Ursan of the Bearans, leaving behind name and clan to serve the whole race. The simple life of the Bearan clans ended when Humans set foot on their land. After a long and bloody war, many were taken into servitude, while the lucky few hid deep in the ice to follow the Old Ways. Hundreds of years passed before they became respected allies of the Humans. Their current leader, Chieftain Ursan, is a respected member of the High Council of The Sacred Order.
Brutal and savage, the Orcs are born to be ultimate war machines, living at the heart of battle from cradle to grave. Possessing immense strength and endurance, they are disciplined yet ambitious, violent, and fearsome beyond all other races — the ultimate predators of Aragon.
One thousand years after the first war, Aragon gave birth to the Orcs. For hundreds of years they lived under harsh conditions, facing fierce competition from other proto-races and monsters. Only the toughest and most intelligent survived. When the Orcen ships appeared on the horizon of Mynorath, the Dwarves were doomed — Death had come to conquer their homeland. The Orcs built their capital there and expanded further, encountering new worthy foes: the Humans. After the fall of the Great Empire and the deadly spell of the Demon King, many Orcs traveled to Irongarth. Led by High Chieftain Inngrim, they established their Empire in the capital city Innammar in the Red Wastes at Grommdor. Inngrim now leads The Domination.
The Undead are dead Humans who refused to allow their souls to be reborn into another vessel that would serve The Old Gods again. With a curse brought upon them, they live forever in their rotting bodies — never to be accepted back by friends or family. Driven by vengeance and the will to endure.
Once faithful servants of the sacred gods, these Humans chose defiance over rebirth. Their curse grants them a twisted form of immortality — an existence trapped between life and death. Their long lives have granted them vast knowledge of history, magic, theology, and biology. Their libraries are the oldest in Aragon, holding tens of thousands of ancient texts. Though their armies are numerous, many soldiers are living dead with no consciousness — just puppets. Among the living dead, it is said, there are members of ancient races long extinguished by time but persisting through their cursed immortality.
Infernal Demons come in many forms — their infinite diversity makes generalization nearly impossible. It is often impossible to label them as simply "good" or "evil." One thing is certain: demons are beyond the comprehension of mortals, just as mortals seem beyond the comprehension of demons.
Wielders of the Infernal Fire, the Demons once shared ancestry with those who would become the High Elves. Where the Elves renounced the Infernal Fire for Elvyn's moonlight, the Demons embraced their chaotic nature. Some believe that consuming the souls of the defeated grants them extended life and ever-greater power — a dark practice that fuels whispered tales of black markets and unspeakable rituals. Yet the Infernal Demons are more complex than mere soul devourers. Some have even renounced the Infernal Fire to serve Elvyn, proving that light, darkness, chaos, and order are merely energies — tools to be wielded regardless of race or origin.
The last of the Aragon races to emerge, the Gronthars are still not fond of civilization, culture, or learning curves. Massive and primal, they are raw power given form — towering warriors from The Living River whose increasing population drove them to ally with the Orcs in their conquest of new lands.
The mighty tribe of Gronthars emerged from The Living River, their increasing populations demanding ever more territory. When the Orcs arrived from the Black Mountain, the Gronthars found kindred spirits — both races driven by an unyielding will to conquer. United in The Domination, the Gronthars now serve as the faction's unstoppable vanguard. Their raw physical power is unmatched, and what they lack in subtlety they make up for in sheer, devastating force. They are respected and feared even by their Orcen allies.
