Mercenaries, soldiers, and survivors. The void eats worlds — we're the iron that breaks its teeth.
A community of mature, and down-to-earth gamers who put camaraderie first. We value friendship over meters, humor over elitism, and showing up over perfection. Currently active in WoW and recruiting for our Season 1 Midnight raid team.
Gold is a coward's metal. Iron is heavy, cold, uncaring, and it endures. That's why we wear the emblem of the Circle — no beginning, no end, no turning back. Nobody was conscripted into this company. Every man and woman here stared into the teeth of the storm and signed the ledger with open eyes.
The Iron Circle is running a full narrative campaign for WoW: Midnight. Raids we clear and bosses we drop shape the ongoing history of the company. Every kill is recorded in iron.
Recruitment is open for all roles. We're looking for solid players with strong character concepts. To get your name on the ledger, you'll need a character concept and a brief sit-down with one of our officers. Track us down at in-game recruiting events or reach out via Discord.
Roll dice. Track stats. Resolve conflicts. Version 1.0 is live on CurseForge.
The core ruleset behind Torches in the Dark — and a fully-featured WoW addon for in-game conflict resolution. Nine ability scores, the Strikes damage system, armor and equipment, spellcasting with mishap tables, horrible wound tables, and Grim Sorts class system.
Built directly into World of Warcraft — roll dice, track character stats, manage injuries and conditions, and resolve narrative encounters without leaving the game. Everything you need to run a full inside an MMO.
A tabletop role-playing game session — typically 2-4 hours of collaborative storytelling guided by a Game Master, using dice rolls and character sheets to resolve actions and consequences. The Conflict Engine lets you do this entirely inside WoW.
Characters begin with 10 attribute points distributed among nine abilities: Might, Finesse, Endurance, Insight, Resolve, Presence, Faith, Magick, and Luck. Combat uses a d20 + modifier vs. DC system. The Strikes system replaces HP — every hit costs a Strike, and when you hit zero, you roll on the Horrible Wounds table. Death is fast and violent.
Every character begins with strikes equal to their class's strike count. For every hit taken, a character loses 1 strike of damage. Powerful enemies may cause 2 or 3 strikes. When you reach zero, roll on the Horrible Wounds table based on damage type — crushing, slashing, puncturing, or fang & claw. Results range from being stunned to instant decapitation.
Spellcasters roll d20 + Magick vs spell DC. Armor dramatically increases difficulty. A natural 1 triggers a Magical Mishap — roll d100. Results include shadows following you, tentacles ripping from your face, or becoming an agent of the Slender Crown. The gods care nothing for mortal races.
You aren't a hero. You're a knave, a scoundrel, a survivor. Play your cards right, and you might stay that way.
A narrative tabletop RPG of exploration, survival, and consequence set in a world where divinity lies broken. Journey through forsaken lands, earn your scars, and carve your destiny — or die in a dark corner, forgotten. Built on the ruleset.
Choose from Humans, Empire Dwarves, Drakons, Orkons, and Astral Elves — each with unique abilities and rarity rolls. Then pick your Grim Sort: your class, your trade, your way of not dying. Each Sort carries its own strikes, traits, and approach to surviving the dark.
Ohr Games' custom rules system. 9 ability scores, d20-based resolution, Strikes for health, Horrible Wounds on death, and magic that might kill you faster than your enemies. Used in both the TTRPG and the WoW addon.
Torches in the Dark is actively being developed. The full rules reference for the Conflict Engine — including character creation, combat, spellcasting, death & dying, and all class/race information — is available now. Playtesting is ongoing with Iron Circle members.
Characters begin with 10 attribute points distributed among nine abilities. No score may exceed +6 at creation. Physical: Might, Finesse, Endurance. Mental: Insight, Resolve. Social: Presence. Divine: Faith. Arcane: Magick. Fortune: Luck. Your build defines how you survive — there are no dump stats when everything wants to kill you.
When reduced to zero strikes, roll d12 on the wound table matching the damage type. Crushing might crack your skull or explode your head. Slashing could sever a limb or slash an artery. Puncturing sends arrows through eyes. Fang & claw eviscerates or tears your head clean off. Death is fast and rarely pretty.
Eight races. Two factions. One war. Choose your side and write your story in blood.
United by faith in the holy spirit and the sacred order that gives life to every living creature in Aragon. Humans, High Elves, Dwarves, and Bearans stand together — an alliance forged in war and sealed in blood.
Born of chaos, war, and defiance. Led by High Chieftain Inngrim of the Orcs — Orcs, Undead, Infernal Demons, and Gronthars united against the Sacred Order. Driven by ambition, survival, and an unquenchable thirst for conquest.
Scars of Honor is an ongoing roleplay saga set within the Iron Circle guild. The world of Aragon is shaped by player choices — faction conflicts, character deaths, political alliances, and the consequences of every decision carry forward. This isn't a static setting. It breathes.
A free-to-play MMORPG built from the community, for the community — by Beast Burst Entertainment. An open world where power is earned through gameplay alone. Scalable dungeons, PvP battlegrounds, guild wars, bounty hunting, and a factional war that defines the world. The Iron Circle runs its RP campaigns within this setting.
King Venuin rallied the Dwarves of Throrsgard and the High Elves of Lunadell, and stood before their kings in favor of the Bearans — brute, fierce beings who proved their loyalty over time. Together, they ambushed the invading Orcs and Gronthars in the Second War. But the Domination, led by High Chieftain Inngrim, unites all who refuse to kneel. The war rages on.
Mature gamers. Good storytelling. A little irreverent. Whether you need a raid team, a tabletop group, or just good company — it starts here.
